The expressive arts legacy passed on to the next generation is one of images–their life, language and meaning. Participants in this workshop will take part in an expressive arts therapy group supervision process, using art-making and images to help us understand our clients, their issues, the co-transference, deeper levels of existence and relationship, and the arts themselves. Woven into the supervision process will be expressive arts and Jungian psychology, both image-based approaches.
Short Bio:
Kate Donohue, Ph.D., REAT, has been in private practice and supervised therapists for twenty-five years. She is an associate professor in expressive arts therapy at CIIS. Kate developed the requirements and ethics standards for registered expressive arts therapists (REAT). Her longstanding passion is the marriage of expressive arts therapy and Jungian psychology.
